Emina Sauvignon is a white wine from DO Rueda that offers an exceptional aroma. It is a full-bodied and balanced wine made entirely from selected grapes of the Sauvignon variety, grown on vineyards on Valdestillas' poor soils.

It has the exotic fruit aromas typical of the Sauvignon variety, blending with those of this area in the Designation of Origin Rueda such as fresh grass.


DESCRIPTION 

Emina Sauvignon wine combines the characteristic aromas of this variety with aromas that are typical of Castilla y León, such as fruits with seed and white flowers. It takes on a unique personality provided by the Emina Medina Winery and its own autochthonous yeasts.


TASTING

In the visual phase, it displays a very pale yellow straw colour with a wax rim.

The nose proffers tropical aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, green mango, boxwood and herbal notes on a subtle citric background with red bell pepper and white flowers.

In the mouth it has an excellent volume balance, body and acidity; it is also lively, with a lingering, pleasant and bitter finish.
